Most CRMs model customers. Connection CRM models communities: people, groups and events share a single community model, so a book club, a family and a conference can all be described the same way.
Ideas worth noting
- Memberships with kinds and roles — someone can be a founder of one group and an occasional guest at another.
- Stacked relationships — two people can be colleagues, neighbours and climbing partners at once.
- Inference — suggests non-resident affiliates and derived kinship, so the graph fills in gaps you didn’t enter by hand.
